21 weeks

21 Weeks, busy times. :) Many things happened this week. Henry got fitted for a helmet which he will begin sporting next Thursday. We went to a story time at the Frisco Library on Wednesday. He sat in the high chair for the first time (just for a test drive.) and so much more!
Today we have had a busy one and it is only 1:30! This morning Pete and I ran in a 5K that raised money for an orphanage in Peru! It was called the Roof Dog Run. Lots of people had their dogs; we had Henry.

This is my intimidating look I give when I am running.

Peter got third place for his age group and a medal to prove it!

Then, we went to Landon Stamper's 1st birthday party at a park in Allen. It was Henry's first time on the swings! He loved it.

The week isn't over yet! More to come...

The Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday, we ventured to Celina, Texas-a small town about ten miles north of us to do some pumpkin patching.

two weeks have gone by

19 weeks!
Pete got to go to Notre Dame for a video shoot-he was gone Mon.-Wed. Thursday, we had an appointment at Cranial Tech. via the advice of our pediatrician. Not sure if you have seen babies in little helmets, but we have and always wondered what they were for. Well, now we know because Henry has to get one. It has something to do with the muscles in his neck being stronger on one side, therefore effecting his head shape and the way his ears and cheek are forming, etc. Here is a link to their website if you are more curious: http://www.cranialtech.com/

Then,we made a trip to Austin last weekend for my friend, Lyndsay's wedding (we taught third grade together). I am so bummed that I forgot to bring the camera!!! But my sweet friend, Emily, made us a copy of a family shot. Austin was beautiful, and Henry sat through the wedding like a little gentleman.

Henry has been growing and changing so much. It is fun to see the little things that tickle him. In this case, it is the little stuffed horse that his cousin Jessica got him.

Henry is 20 weeks already- five months on the 28th. Rolling from tummy to back (only in mere protest of being on tummy) is still his thing. He is sleeping from 7:15-7:00 and has started to stand in his exersaucer-not quite playing yet, but he is enjoying the standing.

18 weeks. 4 months, week 1

On Monday, we survived Henry's 4 month appointment which includes the awful second round of shots. I hate those. He always does much better with those than I do. Henry weighed in at 19 lbs. in the 97 percentile. His height was 26 inches in the 68 percentile. I can't believe that since he was born he has gained 9 lb.s and has grown 6 inches! I can't believe that he is already 4 months. Seriously, he'll be driving before I know it.
Today was a funny day with the weekly picture. By the end, I had printed two signs and finally stuck it over his head cause he likes to grab it now and play.
