last day in the seven months...

There are many things that Henry is trying to conquer before the ripe age of 8 months which occurs tomorrow. The following things have happened in the last week to week and a half:
* two teeth are very visible..one more than the other
* sleeping on tummy during the night and naps
* rolling, rolling, rolling
* tummy time more (now that it is his idea)
* eating yogurt and tofu (not a fan)
* first cold and disliking the nose sucker
* seeing his vikings win and lose

I also am included a picture of my editor. He is with me-where-ever I may go:

lost track of weeks

Well, with Christmas and all, I lost track of how many weeks Henry is, but I know that he is seven months and some change. :) This week (two days ago) Henry rolled from back to tummy. This is quite the feat for him with his big tummy and all and he makes quite the effort in doing so. However, yesterday, I thought I heard him and then I didn't while napping, so I turned on the monitor. For ten minutes straight, I watched Henry roll from back to tummy-tummy to back-practicing. video It is so funny because he kinda puts on a fuss when he does it for an audience, so my theory is he would really like to be good at it before showing off his new skills-how modest.

We've been playing a lot lately with his friend Luke Alexander who is a bit older than Henry (nine monthsish). One day the two were together and Henry reached for Luke's face and gave him a big ole smooch. It was pretty funny.

Henry is also teething-this time it is for sure! We can see one on the bottom. It isn't fully up yet, but I can see it.

henry's first christmas

We are back to the land of sun from -30 degree weather in good ole MN! It was a great trip and when I think of blogging about it, I get a little overwhelmed. Many things occurred that could go down in history like a great friend's baby shower, saying goodbye to a beloved aunt, dinner with friends, rook tournaments, family get togethers, swedish tea ring tradition,sledding, puzzle making, vikings watching, etc. Unfortunately, we are really good at bringing our camera to MN, but not so good at taking pictures.
